Job Overview:
Career Renew is hiring on behalf of its client for a Lead Mobile Engineer to spearhead the user-facing mobile side of a blockchain/crypto platform. This fully remote role is open to candidates based in the US or EU. As Lead Mobile Engineer, you’ll design and build iOS and Android applications, refine SDKs, and craft seamless, secure user experiences for fintech-grade mobile wallets. If you’re passionate about crypto, security, and building trustworthy digital products, this is your opportunity to take ownership of high-impact projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of iOS and Android applications.
- Own features throughout their lifecycle – from concept to release and iteration.
- Enhance cross-platform frameworks and SDKs for smooth integrations.
- Implement fintech-level UX and bank-grade security protocols.
- Establish and enforce best practices for performance, architecture, and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver features quickly.
- Write clear technical documentation and mentor junior developers.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in mobile engineering, with leadership responsibilities.
- Expertise in React Native or native iOS/Android development (Swift, Kotlin).
- Proven track record of shipping secure fintech or blockchain mobile apps.
- Strong knowledge of cross-platform development and SDK design.
- Hands-on experience with secure authentication (WebAuthn, passkeys, OAuth).
- Excellent UX instincts and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, distributed teams.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $140,000 – $220,000 annually.
