Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor swimming pool areas to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations consistently and with a friendly demeanor.
- Respond quickly and effectively to all aquatic emergencies, providing necessary first aid and rescue techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck, changing rooms, and surrounding facilities.
- Conduct regular checks of safety equipment, including rescue tubes and first aid kits, reporting any issues.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
Requirements
- Ability to swim proficiently and pass a lifeguard certification test (current certification preferred).
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential hazards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during emergency situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome; training will be provided as needed.
