Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system security and stability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for Linux servers.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures for critical data.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy and manage applications on Linux infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator, particularly at a mid-senior level.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, command-line interface, and networking concepts.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python for automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
