Logistics coordinator

Job Overview

The logistics coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the daily transportation of products. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and secure delivery to customer sites while maintaining strict compliance with chemical safety regulations , site requirements, RTA regulations and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize delivery routes to minimize costs, fuel usage, and delivery times
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and external hauliers to manage vehicle capacity
• Process delivery orders, decide the route, scheduling and booking transport
• Prepare necessary transport documentation, delivery note, batch certificates, and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with local RTA regulations regarding the transportation
• Act as the key contact between customer, sales, production, warehouse, drivers, and external freight for.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• SAP / Excel
