    SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Managing Director to lead and scale its waste management operations. This role owns overall business performance, including strategy, operations, client management, growth, and P&L, while ensuring best-in-class QHSE compliance, service quality, and team leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Define and execute the business strategy and operating model for waste management activities.
    • Drive business growth across existing services and new opportunities (recycling, sustainability/green initiatives).
    • Lead client and stakeholder management including key accounts, partners, and relevant authorities.
    • Oversee contracts and subcontractors, ensuring compliance, performance, and effective governance.
    • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring cost discipline and margin delivery.
    • Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams (hiring, training, coaching, succession planning).

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
    • 15+ years of relevant experience, including 7–8+ years in a comparable senior leadership role.
    • Proven track record leading multi-site operations, P&L ownership, and client-facing delivery in the UAE/GCC.
    • Demonstrated experience in change management and digital/process transformation.
    • Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
    • Fluent English (mandatory).
