    Job Overview

    Weatherford is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems. The role focuses on optimizing production efficiency while maintaining cost-effectiveness, high-quality product results, and design for manufacturability. The Manufacturing Engineer will provide guidance and support for solving complex technical problems in manufacturing production and coordinate the installation of new processes and methods using a Lean Manufacturing approach.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products.
    • Create and revise BOMs and routings for newly released Part Numbers.
    • Design and develop manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems at the plant level.
    • Identify and develop collaborative solutions for production workflow issues.
    • Provide technical guidance for manufacturing activities.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods, and controls.

    Requirements

    • Ability to implement SPC.
    • PC skills including AutoCAD and MS Office suite software.
    • Mechanically inclined.
    • Knowledge of machine design, welding processes, and CNC Machining (Preferred).
    • Lean Manufacturing experience or certification (Preferred).
    • Six Sigma Certification (Preferred).
