Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve contractor’s proposed materials and methods.
- Oversee contractor’s daily activities and provide guidance.
- Attend and lead on-site inspections as required.
- Follow up on testing and approvals from relevant authorities.
- Monitor material delivery and accuracy of materials used on site.
- Prepare reports on contractual and procedural matters for the Resident Engineer.
Requirements
- Bachelors qualified with an engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in large construction programs and design-and-build contracts.
- Good knowledge of local materials standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
