Job Overview
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services and consulting, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its team in Chon Buri, Thailand. This role involves designing electro-mechanical devices, creating CAD models, and providing engineering and manufacturing support for advanced sensor modules such as cameras, LiDAR, and radar. Job Responsibilities
- Support mechanical engineering design and sustaining engineering for sensor modules.
- Design and develop electro-mechanical devices (e.g., LiDAR, cameras, computer devices, printers).
- Create parametric concept geometry in CAD software (CATIA V6, SolidWorks, Creo, UGNX).
- Design hardware components, including injection moldings, sheet metal, stamped, compression-molded, and vacuum-formed parts.
- Coordinate with local suppliers for technical and manufacturing discussions.
- Maintain CAD hygiene, revision control, and proper documentation of components and sub-systems.
- Create 2D technical drawings using drafting workbench.
- Work with Enovia PLM tools and support change management processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in electro-mechanical device design.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (CATIA V6, SolidWorks, Creo, UGNX).
- Hands-on experience with Enovia PLM tools and change control.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, sheet metal, stamping, etc.).
- Excellent English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
