Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components for advanced spectroscopy instruments.
- Participate in the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Conduct detailed mechanical analysis, simulations, and testing of prototypes.
- Collaborate with optical, electrical, and software engineering teams.
- Ensure designs adhere to relevant industry standards and quality requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of product performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in an associate role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
