    Radiology Tasmania, part of the Integral Diagnostics (IDX) community, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join their team in Hobart. This is a permanent part-time role (27.5 hours per week) working across four clinics: Hobart City, Women’s Imaging, Rosny, and Glenorchy.     Job Responsibilities

    As a Medical Receptionist, you will:

    • Manage phone enquiries professionally, confidentially, and efficiently.
    • Welcome and assist patients at the reception desk.
    • Schedule patient and referrer appointments.
    • Process invoices, receipts, and Medicare rebates.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
    • Keep the reception and waiting area clean, welcoming, and presentable.
    • Provide high-level support to patients and the clinical team.

    Requirements

    The successful candidate will bring:

    • Strong customer service and patient focus skills.
    • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
    • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
    • A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude.
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
    • Previous experience in radiology or exposure to Medicare billing is highly regarded.
