    Job Overview

    International Logistics Consulting (ILC) is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead day-to-day logistics operations in Dubai while driving sales growth. The role owns planning, execution, and continuous improvement across transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring on-time delivery, cost control, and exceptional customer service. You will partner closely with clients and internal teams to convert opportunities into revenue, optimize processes, and scale reliable, compliant supply-chain solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee end-to-end operations: transport planning, fleet/3PL coordination, warehousing, and last-mile distribution.
    • Build and manage an operating rhythm (KPIs, dashboards, SLAs, OTIF, cost per shipment) and drive continuous improvement.
    • Own customer service excellence—incident resolution, claims handling, and root-cause corrective actions.
    • Lead operational budgeting, capacity planning, and vendor performance management.
    • Ensure HSE, quality, and regulatory compliance (customs, documentation, trade controls).
    • Partner with sales to qualify leads, price services, prepare proposals, and support contract negotiations.
    • Onboard new accounts: SOP creation, SLA definition, startup readiness, and cross-functional training.
    • Implement best-practice processes and digital tools for tracking, inventory accuracy, and reporting.
    • Recruit, mentor, and schedule team members; foster a high-performance culture.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
    • 5+ years’ experience in logistics/3PL operations with team leadership; GCC experience preferred.
    • Proven record improving KPIs (OTIF, cost, damage rate) and scaling operations.
    • Working knowledge of WMS/TMS and data tools (Excel, BI dashboards).
    • Strong commercial acumen—pricing, proposal support, and customer presentations.
    • Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of regional customs, import/export processes, and HSE standards.
