- Act as the go-to person for employment law, payroll, and people-related queries across teams.
- Draft, amend, and process employment contracts, changes, and terminations while ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
- Oversee monthly payroll in collaboration with external providers, social security, and tax authorities.
- Collaborate with external partners for employment law, remote work (e.g., Deel), and visa services.
- Maintain and update HR software (BambooHR), generating reports and ad-hoc analyses for team leads.
- Develop and refine scalable HR processes to support a growing, global workforce.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in People Operations/HR, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of German labor law and visa processes.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and pragmatic approach to work.
- High service orientation and strong communication skills in both German and English.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple topics, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Proficiency with HR systems (BambooHR, Deel) is an advantage.
- Positive, proactive mindset with curiosity and willingness to learn.
Benefits
- A people-first culture with minimal bureaucracy and maximum impact.
- Professional and passionate team with direct insight into building a global tech leader.
- Fast-paced, feedback-driven environment focused on personal growth and learning.
