Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex datasets pertaining to petroleum exploration, production, and refining.
  • Develop and maintain robust data models, dashboards, and reports for various stakeholders.
  • Identify key trends, patterns, and insights to enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, geology, and other technical teams to understand data requirements.
  • Ensure the highest level of data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of new data analytics tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong preference for background in the oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency in data analysis languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solid understanding of petroleum industry concepts, operations, and data sources.
