Key Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate a holistic design strategy for Wero, aligning with business goals and user needs.
- Lead the design vision and execution across the product lifecycle, from concept to implementation.
- Conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design principles and solutions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure design consistency and excellence.
- Mentor and guide other designers, fostering a culture of innovation and high-quality design.
- Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders, articulating the value and rationale behind decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in design strategy, product design, or a similar leadership role, preferably in fintech or payments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic design thinking and impactful solutions.
- Expertise in user-centered design methodologies and research practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
