We are seeking an experienced Procurement Assistant/Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in the UAE. The successful candidate will join the Procurement Team and handle the day-to-day procurement operations. Knowledge in offshore compliance, safety, and logistics is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Procurement Supervisor in day-to-day purchasing activities.
- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and RFQs in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, delivery schedules, payment terms, and documentation.
- Follow up on order status, deliveries, and lead times to ensure timely receipt of materials/services.
- Verify supplier documents such as delivery notes, invoices, certificates, and packing lists against POs.
- Maintain and update procurement records, supplier databases, and filing systems (soft and hard copies).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years UAE Experience.
- Strong Negotiation Skills.
- Knowledge in offshore compliance, safety, and logistics is a plus.
- Ability to coordinate with Accounts, Warehouse/Yard, and End-Users to resolve discrepancies and issues.
