Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for cement, aggregates, admixtures, chemicals, spare parts, and plant equipment.
- Source, evaluate, and manage approved vendors; monitor and assess supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to achieve cost efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with batching plants, QC, stores, and project teams to forecast material requirements.
- Monitor procurement budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost optimization.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials in line with production schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in Ready Mix Concrete or the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of RMC materials, suppliers, and market pricing.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP system experience preferred.
