Job Overview
BESIX is seeking a Procurement Manager (MEP) to lead and manage the MEP Procurement function across tenders and awarded projects. The role is responsible for managing a team of six, assuring consistent procurement governance across the Middle East region, obtaining pricing for tender estimates, reviewing tender documentation during bid stage, developing vendor strategies, and executing the full procurement cycle once projects are awarded.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all MEP RFQ issuance, price collection, scope alignment, and commercial clarifications at tender stage.
- Review tender documents and highlight technical and commercial risks to Tender and Engineering teams.
- Develop procurement strategies for major MEP packages per category (HVAC, electrical, ELV, plumbing, etc.).
- Maintain and update the approved vendor database and preferred bidder lists.
- Drive technical and commercial alignment between Engineering, Procurement, and Operations.
- Lead negotiation and award process of major MEP subcontracts and supplier packages post-award.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- MCIPS / CIPS certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 12+ years in MEP procurement in GCC contracting.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership / team lead role.
- Flexibility to adapt between office-based and site-based depending on business needs.
