Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to achieve favorable agreements and build strong relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to meet purchasing needs proactively.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure strict compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and optimize purchasing strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role, with 5 years+ of relevant experience.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, demonstrating a track record of successful agreements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment with diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
