Job Overview
Novartis Singapore is looking for a QC Analyst IV to join its Quality Control Laboratory. This role is critical to ensuring product safety, quality, and compliance with cGxP regulations. The QC Analyst will conduct analytical testing, manage samples, maintain lab equipment, and contribute to audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing on raw materials, APIs, finished products, packaging, complaints, and stability samples.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with cGxP standards.
- Manage sample storage, documentation, and traceability.
- Conduct equipment calibration, maintenance, and qualification.
- Support method transfers, validation protocols, and technical troubleshooting.
- Perform stability testing and related documentation.
- Prioritize workload to meet release and stability timelines.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Prepare QC documents, reports, and records for audits/inspections.
- Comply with HSE guidelines and contribute to a safe laboratory environment.
- Participate in continuous learning and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline.
- Previous QC/QA laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of cGxP regulations, TQM, and lab excellence standards.
- Familiar with analytical equipment and validated test methods.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to support rotating day/night shifts.
