Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects.
- Manage and monitor all project costs from inception to completion, ensuring financial control.
- Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering exercises to optimize project expenditure.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and specifications.
- Evaluate contractor claims and variations, providing comprehensive analysis and recommendations.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers regarding all financial aspects of projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction management field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in residential or luxury construction.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant local building regulations.
- Proficiency in industry-standard estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
