Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the receiving of all goods and supplies, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Inspect deliveries for quality, quantity, and condition, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
  • Organize and maintain the storage areas, ensuring proper inventory management and rotation.
  • Process documentation related to received goods, including invoices and delivery notes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient distribution of items.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the receiving and storage areas.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Receiving Officer or similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
