Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies, donor requirements, and national/international regulations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on all matters related to risk and compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on risk exposure and compliance status for management.
- Ensure that all organizational activities align with child safeguarding principles and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a risk management, compliance, or audit role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to NGOs.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks effectively.
- High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and advising diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic and challenging environment.
