Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
• Monitor adherence to internal policies, donor requirements, and national/international regulations.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on all matters related to risk and compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on risk exposure and compliance status for management.
• Ensure that all organizational activities align with child safeguarding principles and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a risk management, compliance, or audit role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to NGOs.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks effectively.
• High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and discretion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and advising diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic and challenging environment.
