Job Overview
Ibis Wellington and Novotel Wellington are seeking an energetic Room Attendant to join their dedicated housekeeping team. In this role, you’ll ensure guest rooms are clean, tidy, and presented to the highest standards, helping create a memorable stay for every guest.
This is a part-time role with shifts across a 7-day roster, paid at $25.42 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms
- Respect guest privacy and handle belongings with care
- Report lost property and maintenance issues promptly
- Follow laundry, equipment use, and chemical safety protocols
- Maintain key and room security at all times
- Assist the housekeeping team and support supervisors when needed
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (hotel preferred)
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Friendly, customer-focused, and proactive attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Must have NZ residency or a permanent work visa (no sponsorship provided)
