Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments throughout the hotel premises.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Organize and deliver safety training sessions for all hotel staff.
- Ensure the hotel’s operations comply with all local and international health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and incident reporting.
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop preventative measures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and reporting tools.
