Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and acquire new clients including OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers, automotive electronics manufacturers, and R&D centers.
- Promote a comprehensive range of laboratory services, including Metrology, Mechanical Testing, Climatic & IP Testing, Vibration Testing, and Electrical & Electronics (E&E) testing.
- Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and commercial offers tailored to customer specifications.
- Achieve assigned sales targets through structured pipeline management and strategic account planning.
- Act as the primary interface between customers and the R&D lab teams, supporting them in selecting appropriate testing methods based on standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive testing requirements, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in automotive testing, laboratory services, metrology, or industrial engineering.
- Strong understanding of testing standards (ISO, IEC, SAE, ASTM, OEM specs).
- Experience with testing equipment or services such as environmental chambers, vibration shakers, and E&E test systems is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
