Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Senior Accountant – General Ledger to join the resort’s Finance team. The role involves leading general ledger accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and supervising junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform day-to-day general ledger accounting functions.
• Monitor and adhere to general ledger policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Supervise and mentor junior general ledger team members.
• Oversee fixed asset records and processes.
• Collaborate with the Manager and Assistant Manager – General Ledger.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in general accounting.
• Two (2) years in a senior or supervisory level is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS office and other software applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
