Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily general ledger activities and ensure timely posting of journal entries.
- Assist the month-end and year-end close processes for timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper cost allocations.
- Analyze variances and trends in financial statements, and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and external regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA, ACCA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of general ledger functions, financial reporting, and cost accounting.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor) and Microsoft Excel.
