Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all electrical systems and infrastructure within the hospital facilities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for critical electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, leading resolution efforts to ensure continuous operation and minimal downtime.
• Ensure strict compliance with local and international electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Manage, train, and supervise junior electrical engineers and maintenance staff.
• Provide expert electrical engineering input for facility expansion, renovation projects, and system upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on facilities maintenance within a large-scale institution, preferably healthcare.
• Extensive knowledge of building electrical systems, power distribution networks, generators, UPS systems, and relevant safety codes.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage complex technical challenges under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
