Job Overview
The Investment & Development Office of Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, review, and publication of budgets, rating reports, and investment department reports, encompassing both monthly and quarterly financial information. You will ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial data to key stakeholders, including the IDO Board and rating agencies, while collaborating across departments to enhance data collection and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of the Micro Fiscal Balance at the Government of Ras Al Khaimah (GOR) level.
- Coordinate with SODs and SOEs to facilitate the prompt submission of forecast and budget data.
- Prepare management reports in accordance with stakeholder requirements and address any ad-hoc requests.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of rating reports at GOR, SOD, and SOE levels for review by the Rating Department.
- Coordinate with the RAKEZ IT Team to validate budget templates within the ERP system.
- Identify optimal methods for uploading information into SAP to ensure timely access to data.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification from a recognized professional institution.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience as a qualified finance professional within a large conglomerate, private equity, or sovereign wealth fund.
- In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and their practical application.
- Proven ability to interpret and manage the accounting implications of complex transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and financial instruments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; experience with SAP or Oracle is highly desirable.
- Strong technical accounting expertise.
