Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on investment products, financial services, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and commercial contracts.
- Ensure Mintos’ full compliance with relevant European financial regulations, including MiFID II.
- Support various business units on legal aspects related to new product development and operational processes.
- Monitor changes in the legal and regulatory landscape impacting the investment platform industry.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a lawyer, with significant experience in financial services or investment law.
- Strong understanding of European financial regulations, particularly MiFID II.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
- Relevant law degree and admission to practice law in a European jurisdiction.
