Key Responsibilities
- Drive a consistent, strategic approach to sourcing, purchasing, and tendering, delivering measurable cost savings and value creation.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract awards, ensuring optimal terms and service levels.
- Embed compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across all procurement activities.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies are fully aligned with business priorities and growth plans.
- Lead and develop a high-performance procurement team, fostering capability, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline preferred.
- 8+ years’ experience in procurement, including significant leadership responsibility.
- Proven experience in strategic procurement and supplier negotiations, ideally within aviation, airline catering, hospitality, or similarly complex industries.
- Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of contractual terms, cost management, and ROI optimisation.
- Professional procurement certification (e.g. MCIPS or equivalent) is preferred.
