Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of fixed assets, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring accurate records.
• Oversee project accounting, including budget tracking, cost allocation, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and internal policies for fixed assets and projects.
• Conduct regular reconciliations and prepare comprehensive reports for management.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper asset capitalization and project cost management.
• Participate in year-end audit processes by providing necessary documentation and support related to fixed assets.

Requirements

• UAE National, as this is an Emiratised role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting, project accounting, or a similar finance role, preferably within the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
