The role involves supporting the implementation of the Bank’s Group-wide Compliance strategy within the First Line of Defense, ensuring the efficient management of the Sanctions Payment Screening team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Bank’s Group-wide Compliance strategy.
• Manage the Sanctions Payment Screening team effectively.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to related systems and processes.
• Work closely with Technology, Data & Reporting Team on KPIs and KRIs.
• Ensure timely delivery of MI related to Sanctions Payment Screening.
• Contribute to future revisions of FAB Compliance policy & guidelines.

Requirements

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, Sanctions, and AML policies & guidelines.
• Understanding of industry-specific screening methodologies.
• Ability to contribute to policy revisions from a FCO perspective.
• Familiarity with technological and infrastructural arrangements for surveillance.
• Awareness of changing regulations laid down by CBUAE and international bodies.
