    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions for CloudLinux products.
    • Conduct security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments on Python, WordPress, and PHP-based systems.
    • Develop and implement secure coding practices and guidelines for development teams.
    • Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing timely resolution and post-incident analysis.
    • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security best practices throughout the SDLC.
    • Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Security Engineer, with a focus on web application security.
    • Strong proficiency in Python, PHP, and WordPress security best practices.
    • Solid understanding of common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation techniques.
    • Experience with security tools and technologies for vulnerability scanning, static/dynamic analysis.
    • Ability to perform code reviews for security flaws in Python, WordPress, and PHP.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
