    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the Head Chef in managing and overseeing daily kitchen operations.
    • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest culinary standards as per BAHIA’s Michelin-guide quality.
    • Contribute to menu development, focusing on innovation and respect for high-quality ingredients.
    • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen.
    • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
    • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and optimize costs.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a fine dining or Michelin-starred establishment.
    • Strong culinary skills and a passion for creative and contemporary cuisine.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best kitchen practices.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
