Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Strategic Projects Manager for their CAAAS initiatives. This mid-senior level role focuses on leading strategic projects to enhance mental health, learning disability, and community services in Gloucestershire.

This high-level overview shows we are in a healthy position, with higher scores than average for comparable organisations, alongside a great response rate, indicating good staff engagement. However, we also know we have plenty of room for improvement in many areas. To that end, we continue to prioritise and invest in our commitment to genuinely becoming a Great Place to Work with consistent top-quartile performance in the annual staff survey and Pulse surveys.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects within the CAAAS portfolio.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with NHS standards and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in care delivery and service integration.
• Report on project progress, performance, and impact to senior leadership and relevant committees.

Requirements

• Proven experience in strategic project management, ideally within the healthcare or public sector.
• Strong understanding of project methodologies and tools (e.g., Prince2, Agile).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive change effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
