Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design calculations for various construction projects.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and BIM software.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop efficient and cost-effective structural solutions.
- Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with a focus on structural engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards, including IBC, ACI, and AISC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
