Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and related hardware/software.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implement and manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers.
  • Perform regular data backup operations and implement appropriate recovery procedures.
  • Ensure system security by managing user access, implementing security protocols, and patching vulnerabilities.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting tools and maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration or a similar IT role.
  • Proficiency with various operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux distributions).
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network security.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
