    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor and interpret national and international tax laws and regulations relevant to banking.
    • Ensure the bank’s full compliance with all applicable tax requirements and obligations.
    • Support the development and implementation of robust tax compliance frameworks and procedures.
    • Assist in the accurate preparation and timely filing of tax returns and related documentation.
    • Provide expert advice to internal departments on complex tax-related matters and potential risks.
    • Actively participate in tax audits and effectively liaise with tax authorities and external advisors.

    Requirements

    • Proven professional experience in tax compliance, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
    • Strong understanding of national and international tax legislation, including FATCA and CRS.
    • Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Capability to work both independently with initiative and collaboratively within a team environment.
    • Proficiency in relevant tax software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in German and English being highly advantageous.
