Job Overview
Exyte Central Europe GmbH, a global leader in engineering for high-tech markets, is looking for a Team Lead Document Control to join our Stuttgart office. In this role, you will lead and coordinate a team of document controllers, ensuring efficient handling of all project documentation for cutting-edge industries like semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and data centers.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of document controllers (disciplinary and technical)
- Organize, file, and manage electronic data and documents throughout their lifecycle
- Coordinate project-specific documentation required by clients and track deadlines
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of contractually agreed documents
- Maintain and update metadata in electronic document systems with spot checks and reports
- Participate in and plan coordination meetings on documentation and related processes
- Provide data and evaluations on documentation progress to project stakeholders
Requirements
- Completed technical/commercial studies or equivalent apprenticeship
- Several years of experience in document control, with comprehensive process knowledge
- Proven leadership and communication skills to guide and align team members
- Ability to balance differing viewpoints and harmonize team direction
- Initiative and decision-making capabilities with consistent follow-up
- Fluent German (required)
- Willingness to travel as needed
