    Red Hat is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the EMEA Services team in Dubai/UAE. You will manage services projects in the region from initiation through to delivery and closure, coordinating cross-functional teams and establishing appropriate metrics. Red Hat will provide relocation support to UAE for the selected candidate.

    Quick Details

    • Salary Range: Market Competitive
    • Job Type: Full-time
    • Qualifications: PMI and PMP certifications or the Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) degree, or other certifications of an equivalent level
    • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a project management role

    Key Responsibilities

    • Guide project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for Red Hat’s services projects with minimal direction.
    • Handle project requirements, scope, and change management issues; ensure adherence to legally binding requirements.
    • Work with the management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules; contribute to the project estimation process.
    • Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria; develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational plans.
    • Participate in status review meetings with project team members and customers.
    • Integrate and use specific industry and technical delivery methodologies like project management methodologies based on Project Management Institute (PMI and PMP) methodologies.

    Requirements

    • Highly motivated with solid 2–3 years of experience in a project management role managing IT-based projects.
    • Experience with cloud technologies, middleware, and open source is an advantage.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills and business judgment.
    • Ability to work effectively across a diverse management team and a broad spectrum of internal partners on your own.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high attention to detail.
