Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance, repair, budgeting, and survey scheduling of vessels.
- Ensure vessels operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain vessel classification status and manage Planned Preventive Maintenance.
- Supervise dry-docking and repairs, liaising with repair yards and subcontractors.
- Liaise with Vessel Masters, Chief Engineers, and customers on technical matters.
- Prepare tender documents and contribute to the appraisal of repair yards.
Requirements
- Unlimited STCW ’95 Chief Engineer’s license (Motor) or Engineering degree/diploma.
- Extensive experience in vessel maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of Class and Statutory regulations.
- Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and coordinate repairs effectively.
