Key Responsibilities
- Attend to electrical equipment breakdowns (LV-MV motors, LV Switchboards, MCCs, Plant lightings, Transformers, UPS, VFD, Breakers, Soft starter, etc.).
- Carry out planned/preventive/predictive maintenance work with minimal supervision.
- Identify and report abnormalities; repair/replace items, re-assemble and test equipment, maintaining a clean workspace.
- Diagnose electrical breakdowns/failures and troubleshoot electrical failures of plant and equipment with minimal direction.
- Use the computerized maintenance system (SAP) to order spare parts from the warehouse and maintain records of completed maintenance work.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and plant operational requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma in relevant field.
- Completion of PEC Craft Training.
- 3 years of relevant experience in a heavy industry after Diploma.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with all maintenance tools and good IT knowledge.
- Experience in installation & troubleshooting.
