Wood is seeking an experienced Telecom Engineer to join our Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This role involves engineering design, proposal estimation, and support interfacing between Telecom systems and key vendors to ensure quality and execution objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Design, Conceptual, FEED and detail Engineering experience.
- Proposal Estimation (Manhours, Deliverable list with Manhrs & Costing estimation for proposal in Telecom systems.
- Support interfacing between Telecom systems and key vendors (including Digital System Integrator (DSI)) and other EPC contractors.
- Ensure telecoms engineering activities are conducted in accordance with project specifications and approved variations if any.
- Co-ordinate with other disciplines and review of other discipline deliverables.
- Carryout onshore and offshore site surveys as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecom Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
- Minimum +5 years’ experience working in telecoms, in large Oil & Gas Facilities.
- Competent to carry out the Design activity in the Design-Check-Approve-Authorize cycle.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and Communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated, results oriented, and be flexible to work well under tight schedules.
