Key Responsibilities
- Support daily trading desk operations and manage the trade life cycle effectively.
- Perform timely reconciliation of trading activities, positions, and cash flows.
- Assist with post-trade processing, including settlements, confirmations, and allocations.
- Monitor market data, news, and events relevant to trading strategies.
- Collaborate closely with front office, middle office, and back office teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Trader Assistant or Operations role, ideally within a hedge fund or asset management environment.
- Strong understanding of various financial markets, instruments, and trade flows.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant trading platforms and office software, including advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to thrive and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
