Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all transportation activities, including guest and staff transfers.
- Oversee and manage the marine logistics operations.
- Develop and implement transportation schedules to optimize fleet efficiency and ensure prompt service for guests and staff.
- Monitor the maintenance and condition of all vehicles and marine equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of drivers, boat captains, and other transportation personnel, ensuring high levels of professionalism and customer service.
- Manage the transportation budget, track expenses, and find cost-effective solutions without compromising service quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and logistical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
