Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and manage a team of truck drivers to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
  • Plan and coordinate daily transportation schedules, routes, and dispatch assignments for timely deliveries.
  • Monitor driver performance, enforce company policies, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company procedures.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and inspections to ensure fleet readiness and safety.
  • Resolve any operational issues, driver concerns, or customer feedback promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the transportation or logistics industry, specifically managing truck drivers.
  • Strong understanding of heavy-haul operations, transportation regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using dispatch software, tracking systems, and other relevant logistics tools.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential.
