Work Permit Coordinator

Job Overview

Solvexis Consultant & Management Group is hiring a Work Permit Coordinator (WPC) to join its team in Hillerød. The role ensures compliance with the Permit-to-Work (PtW) system, upholding strict HSE standards across complex projects. As WPC, you will be responsible for verifying permits, monitoring safety processes, and collaborating with contractors and site teams to ensure all work activities are safe, compliant, and controlled.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the PtW process in coordination with contractors and site management
• Verify permit documentation (P&IDs, WPAs) and update PTW boards daily
• Conduct start-up meetings, toolbox talks, and PTW training sessions for contractors
• Ensure compliance with EU and national HSE regulations, suspending unsafe work if required
• Support the development and updates of Site Safety and Logistics Plans
• Perform safety walks, analyze incidents/near misses, and maintain PTW records
• Train and guide contractors on PTW and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures

Requirements

• Relevant HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in pharma, renewable energy, or large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and PTW processes
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Organizational ability to manage multiple permits and safety compliance simultaneously
• Fluency in English (local language an advantage)
