Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality 2D animations for various short story projects.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand and visualize their creative brief and narrative requirements.
• Design and create engaging characters, backgrounds, and visual elements consistent with the story’s theme.
• Ensure all animation sequences are delivered on time and meet the required artistic and technical standards.
• Utilize industry-standard animation software and techniques to produce professional-grade work.
• Incorporate client feedback effectively to refine and finalize animation projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a 2D Animator, with a strong focus on short story animation.
• An exceptional portfolio demonstrating a range of animation styles, creativity, and technical proficiency.
• Expertise in professional 2D animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar.
• Deep understanding of traditional animation principles including timing, spacing, weight, and anticipation.
• Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a freelance capacity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with international clients.
