Key Responsibilities
- Generating, verifying, and distributing invoices to customers accurately and on time.
- Recording and reconciling customer payments and applying them to the correct accounts.
- Monitoring accounts receivable and contacting customers with past-due accounts.
- Handling customer inquiries about billing issues and resolving payment disputes.
- Maintaining accurate customer accounts and updating the accounts receivable ledger.
- Preparing financial reports related to accounts receivable, such as aging reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
